Parque Fundidora is the D3-designed temporary road course that is the resting ground for the old abandoned steel mill. The design incorporates much of the old mill machinery and industrial buildings from the old Foundry making this park a famous Archeological Industrial Site in Mexico.

The inaugural Champ Car event held here in 2001 saw over 325,000 spectators flock to the park again awarding D3 with Champ Car’s Biggest Attendance event in its inaugural year award.

This complex also contains extensive walking tracks, an artificial lake, playgrounds for children, a hotel, an ice rink, an auditorium, a museum and other small buildings for cultural activities.
